Mark Biestman, Founder and CEO, has held positions as President and CEO of Real Clear Technologies, President and CEO of SEVEN Networks, SVP of Worldwide Operations for CommerceOne and executive positions with Netscape, Oracle, Tandem and IBM.

Alan Donahue, Founder and EVP, specializes in advanced intelligent networks. Alan has held executive positions at iPearl, KXEN, eT Communications, Precision Systems, NET, Oracle, Tandem and AT&T.

Mark McGourty, COO and CFO, has over 25 years of experience in financial services and is a co-founder and Managing Director of BayHill Partners LLC, a private investment firm. Mark has held executive positions at Atherton Capital, Brokers Acceptance Corporation, First California Mortgage Company, The Associates, and Ernst & Young.

Pete Marshall, General Counsel, is a founding partner of the Silicon Valley-based firm of Wilson, Marshall & Taylor.

Chris Townsend, VP Business Development, brings a wide variety of skills to The Golf Network. He has over 15 years of experience in sales, television and radio. Chris handles all responsibilities with TGN’s retailers. When he is not tracking down new TGN retail real estate, he hosts a television talk show for the San Francisco 49ers – 49er Insider. Chris also hosts live pre- and post-game shows for the AFL San Jose SaberCats, and co-hosts the nationally syndicated sports radio talk show The Krueg and Towny Show.

Jeff Lester, Creative Director/Head of Production, Jeff has been directing and producing since 1996. He was first recruited by Robert Redford’s Sundance Channel for segments of Sundance Dailies and The Short Show, starring Laura Dern. He has created 3 award winning short films, including The Last Real Cowboys, starring Billy Bob Thornton. Commercially, Jeff has directed over 60 commercials and won numerous awards for his work for such clients as Sheraton, MGM, Chase MasterCard, Arena Football League, and Cox Communications. Jeff has overseen all HD content creation for The Golf Network. He has a B.S. from UC Berkeley.

TGN Hosts

Jim Kelly, TGN Host, Jim brings 37 years of award-winning sports broadcasting experience to The Sports Retail Networks. He is widely identified as the “voice of golf” and has anchored and hosted PGA-LPGA-and Champion’s Tour golf on ABC-NBC-CBS-ESPN and The Golf Channel as well as doing the NFL, NBA, NCAA football, basketball, horse racing, and the America’s Cup. Jim’s many contacts and associations offer SRN critical access to many of the celebrity athletes that are featured on our networks.

Susan Anton, TGN Host, Susan has been working in film, television, and stage for over a quarter of a century. Susan’s recent credits include the Las Vegas production of the Broadway musical Hairspray and the National Tour of the Broadway musical All Shook Up. Susan’s love of golf spans 16 years. She has played in dozens of celebrity golf tournaments such as VH1’s Fairway to Heaven and Alice Cooper’s 18 Holes of Rock N’ Roll. Susan serves as on-air host for TGN, with a focus on travel, fashion, and her many celebrity golfing friends.

Board of Directors

David S. Pottruck, Chairman of the Board, is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Red Eagle Ventures, a San Francisco private equity firm. He is the former President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of The Charles Schwab Corporation. Before joining Schwab in 1984, he was a Senior Vice President at Shearson/American Express. Mr. Pottruck serves on the Board of Directors of DoveBid, Inc., Intel Corporation, U.S. Trust Company, N.A., and the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation. In addition, he is a Trustee of the University of Pennsylvania and serves as Chair of the San Francisco Committee on Jobs. After graduating with a BA from the University of Pennsylvania in 1970, Mr. Pottruck went on to receive his MBA with honors from Wharton in 1972.

Randy Scott received a Bachelor of Arts, Economics degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1979 where he is a fourth generation U.C. Berkeley graduate. Randy joined Cornish Carey Commercial in 1984 as an Office & R&D leasing specialist where, as an agent, he has achieved unparalleled company success to date. He has been responsible for negotiating over 1,600 transactions representing $8.0 billion. In 2004, he was promoted to partner and Executive Vice President, where he was the number one producer within the company. Randy has developed unequaled experience working with early stage Life Science and high-tech companies in structuring appropriate facility strategies throughout the Bay Area. Randy resides in Palo Alto with his wife, Cindy, and their two young children.
